Step::1 Login to Putty

Step::2 Run the following command sftp sammy@your_server_ip_or_remote_hostname and press enter

For ex. "sftp root@155.255.245.10"

Step::3 Enter the password

Step::4 Now SFTP connection is established, in case when you are finished with your work and want to return back to local server, enter ‘exit’ command.
