Today in this blog we will describe you how to find a file in cPanel. When you are managing a website, there may be times when you need to locate a specific file. So here in this tutorial we will guide you how to locate a file using the search option in the File Manager.

Follow the steps given below to find a file in cPanel:

Step::1 Log into cPanel and click on the File Manager in FILES section

Step::2 On the top right, enter the name of the file you want to search for, and choose to search within only the public_html, or the current directory you are in. In my tests I am searching all my files for a wp-config-php file.

Step::3 Click on Go button After this a dialog box will appear with the result in it.
