HOW TO BLOCK ACCESS TO CPANEL COMPLETELY? [STEP BY STEP]☑️
Today in this video you will learn how to block access to cPanel completely from everywhere so that no one know that you are using cPanel. Let us watch out this video to quickly learn how to block access to cPanel completely and revert it back. Take care of every step so that you don’t miss anything.
In order to block access to cPanel completely, perform the steps given below:
Step::1 First of all Disable all Redirecting pages like Suspended pages, Moved in Pages etc.
Do this via SSH access, Just login to PuTTy and run the given command
------------------------------------------------------- mv /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/ /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys_backup ---------------------------------------------------------
Step::2 Now you have to disable cPanel login page view
To do this run the given command
------------------------------------------------ mv /usr/local/cpanel/base/ /usr/local/cpanel/base_backup -------------------------------------------------
Step::3 Now we have to disable all ports which are responsible for accessing cPanel like 2082,2083,2086 & 2087
To do this enter the command in SSH
------------------------------------------------ vi /etc/csf/csf.conf -------------------------------------------------
After running this command you will be able to read the content but you will be unable to make any changes to that file until you come into insert mode. So first of all you have to come into Insert mode by pressing “i”
Now you are into insert made so now you can remove all the ports from the source and then save and quit.
To save the changes you have to press ESC button to come outside insert mode and then run this command
:wq
Now just Restart CSF
Congratulations!!! You have blocked access to cPanel completely
Now if you want to revert the changes made then just move those file in the opposite way like mentioned below
Step::1 Now you have enable all Redirecting pages like Suspended pages, Moved in Pages.
To do this login to PuTTy and run the command

mv /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys_backup /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step::2 Now you have to enable cPanel login page view
To do this run the Command given below
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ mv /usr/local/cpanel/base_backup /usr/local/cpanel/base/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step::3 Now you need to enable all ports which are responsible for accessing cPanel like2082,2083,2086 & 2087
So to do this first of all open csf.conf file by running this command
------------------------------------------------ vi /etc/csf/csf.conf -------------------------------------------------
To edit this file press i button and then revert all the ports which you have disabled. Now press ESC to come outside Insert mode and then save the file by pressing
:wq
