How to disable “Directory list of files-view” whenever there is no index.html or homepage file? [Important| Revised 2019]
Protecting your directories from being listed by your website’s visitors makes your website more secure.
This can be easily prevented by adding a line to the htaccess file. To disable directory listing using htaccess, open your htaccess file using a text editor and add a line “Options Indexes”.
In order to Disable “list of files view” you have write a simple code in .htaccess file [Updated June 2019]
Options -Indexes 
This code will generate a 403 Forbidden error.
