How to change MX records and TXT records in the server? [Important]

There are two ways to update MX records and TXT records on the server

1. cPanel

2. WHM(Root/Reseller)

Steps to change MX and TXT records via cPanel: [Updated May 2019]

• Login to your cPanel
• Go to Advanced Zone Editor
• Now click on the domain for which you want to update TXT records

Now here you can change/update DNS records and click on the Edit Record button

Now if you want to update MX records you have to go to Zone Editor

Then click on MX Record beside your domain to edit

Now here you can add MX record for your domain. In the Priority section, you can enter any digit like 0 & 1 whereas in the Destination field you need to enter the hostname/domain name

How to update MX records and TXT records in WHM? [Updated May 2019]

• Login to your WHM
• Go to Edit DNS Zone

Now select the domain for which you want to update DNS records

You will find a page where you can change your DNS records and point towards any hosting

For updating or adding MX records you have to go to the Edit MX Entry section in WHM
