First of all try to check the “etc“folder available in your home directory. Mostly this error occurs due to missing of “etc” folder from home directory.

There are two ways to fix this issue- the first one is to use a backup if you have to restore the folders and files there.

Another way is to copy /home/username/etc from a fresh new cPanel account and restore it in your cPanel account. Once you’ve gotten /home/username/etc/ back into your cPanel, try to recreate each and every single email account which earlier exist.
