How to Create and Manage Shortcut messages in tawk.to? [STEP BY STEP]☑️
Today in this tutorial we will explain to you how to create and manage Shortcuts in Tawk.to Online Chat system. You can create, and use Shortcuts (canned responses) to answer common questions by simply typing/following by a keyword.
For example, you could type /hello to quickly send the visitor the text: “Hello how can we help you today?”

Follow the steps to Create and Manage Shortcuts in Tawk.to
Step::1 Login to your Tawk.to Dashboard
Step::2 Then go to the Dashboard and Click on Administration
Step::3 Now click on Shortcuts under ‘Settings’
Step::4 Click the Green Add Shortcut Button at the Top Right of the screen to Add a New Shortcut
Step::5 When naming a Shortcut DO NOT INCLUDE THE FORWARD SLASH “/”
- Name the Shortcut.
- Enter the message you want to send the visitor for that Shortcut
- Choose whether this Shortcut is Personal (only you can see and use it) or Public (any agent can use it)
- Choose whether this Shortcut is a message or a quick survey. (it will almost always be a message)
Step::6 Click Save after you have made changes.
