Follow the steps to optimize images used in your website:
Step::1 Go to the URL- https://compressjpeg.com
Step::2 Next you need to click on the Upload Files button.
Step::3 Select the JPEG file from your PC and click on open to Open button (NOTE: Original Size- 1.95 MB)
Step::4 Now just wait for few seconds, so that it get compressed without losing the quality
Step::5 Click on Download All button to save the file
Step::6 Click on Save File option and click OK button
Now see the Result in the screenshot given below. The JPEG image which was 1.95 MB before compression is now 677 KB
Now you can use this compressed image in any of your website. You can also check the size of image on your website by following few steps given below:
Go to your website and right click on any of the image and select View Page info
Now click over the Media tab in the dialog box that appears. From this you will be able to see the file type,size and other properties.
