Follow the steps given below to quickly resolve this cPanel issue from Root level:

Step::1 Login to WHM Root

Step::2 Click on Server Configuration

Step::3 Now go to Tweak settings

Step::4 Search for Backup in the search box

Step::5 Go to Stats and Logs section and adjust the parameters accordingly

Step::6 Now scroll down to System section and set the value to 7

Step::7 Now tick to enable “Send notification when a user’s backup has errors” option

Step::8 Click on Save button
