    Make sure that the directive “AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser” is set to 1. If not, use the vi command to edit it.

  4. You’ll see the below output.

    Warning: If you want to be able to use the "AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser"
    AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1
  5. If the AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1, move to the next diagnostic which is file permission.
  6. Use the below command to check the permission of the desired file.
    ll /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/awstats.pl
  7. The file permission must be 0755 or -rwxr-xr-x.

    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 686244 Jan 4 2018 /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/awstats.pl
  8. If everything goes right. Try running the below command to update AWStats manually from SSH.
    /scripts/runweblogs username

    Change the username with the cPanel username you want to update AWStats manually.
