How to install wordpress in your domain.
Step 1. Log into your cPanel.
Step 2. Go to Software section, then click on the Softaculous icon.
Step 3. Click on the WordPress logo. This will open a screen with several options to show. You will see a screen with Install, Overview, Features, and Import. Click on the Install link. REMEMBER THE ‘IN DIRECTORY’ FIELD NEEDS TO BE BLANK IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL IN MAIN DOMAIN. IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL IN SOME FOLDER THEN WRITE FOLDER NAME.
Step 4. Fill in the WordPress set up information. Click Install.
Step 5. Softaculous will Check the submitted data and install the files to your server for WordPress.
Click Return to Overview.
Now you will see your WordPress Installation in the Current Installations.
Step 6. Visit your website in your browser.

My installation failed initially because I did not leave the “In Directory” blank during WP installation.
Thank you for contacting us. It is very clearly mentioned in the image of step 3 of the blog- “To install at http://mydomain/dir/ just type dir. To install only in http://mydomain leave this empty” which means that if you want to install it into a folder write the name of the folder otherwise leave it empty.
