Sometimes what happen when user enters wrong nameservers into Edit DNS Zone then automatically an errors occurs like the one shown below when you check your domain in IntoDNS you will find that the parent nameservers and the nameservers of your hosting account are not matching. So setting up private nameservers in WHM will helps you to avoid this kind of issue.
Follow the below process:
step#1- Login to your WHM
step#2- Go to Server Configuration
step#3- Click on Basic WHM Setup
step#4- Change the nameservers to your private nameservers/default nameservers. Also make sure whatever nameservers you assign here must points towards your hosting IP.
step#5- Click on save changes.
Note : All the domains which you will host under your WHM will be allocated with the above nameservers. So once you set the namservers in your WHM then automatically every domain you host will accept these nameservers. In this case you need not to fix sub nameservers everytime in your DNS Zone and point it towards your hosting.
With our reseller hosting plans you can set custom Name servers from WHM for your clients to use it.
